RP1Cloud gives you the ability to automatically dial out to one or more rooms or endpoints that have been invited to your meeting. This helps the meeting participants connect faster, provides a high-touch concierge experience and removes some of the manual work required to join a meeting.
You can do this in a few simple steps! Via the RP1.VC portal, schedule your RP1Cloud meeting. Send the invitations to the invited guests. Add the video endpoints or RP1Rooms you wish to connect to the meeting. You can also specify if you wish to dial out 5 or 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
In order to leverage a scheduled zero-touch join dial-out, please ensure your rooms/endpoints have the Auto Answer Point-to-Point Video setting enabled.
Here are some helpful screenshots to show you how this works.
In the RP1.VC portal, click the Meeting Schedule button:
Scroll down to the Add Rooms for Dial-Out section:
Click the + Add Scheduled Dial-out Room(s) button to add the rooms/endpoints you wish to dial out to. Click the Add Participants button in the bottom right when you are done.
The final step is to select when you wish to dial out to these rooms/endpoints. You can dial out to them at the scheduled start time or you can dial out 5 or 10 minutes prior. When you have made your selection click Send.
That's all there is to it! The rooms/endpoints will answer at the time of the call and automatically join themselves to your RP1Cloud meeting.
