Register your video endpoints to RP1Cloud to simplify the experience of joining meetings.
To complete the registration, please follow the instructions below and fill in the attached form. Send completed back to customersuccess@rp1cloud.com.
Steps
1. Obtain the IP address of the Polycom Trio device. You can find it by following the steps below:
a. From the Trio home screen, press the Settings button.
b. Press the Status button.
c. Press the System Information button. Note the IP address.
Note: If the phone will not connect, you may need to turn on the Web Server in the phone’s settings. To do so, navigate from the Trio home screen to Settings->Advanced->Administration Settings->Web Server Configuration. Make sure the Web Server is toggled on.
2. In an internet browser, enter https:// and then the IP address obtained above. Example: https://10.0.100.179
3. Select Admin and enter password 456. Click the Submit button.
4. Navigate to Simple Setup->SIP Line Identification and enter the following:
a. Display Name: the name you want other callers to see
b. Address: trio.demo2@rp1cloud.com
c. Authenticate User ID: provided by RP1Cloud
d. Label: the label you want displayed on the Trio touch screen for this line (e.g. RP1Cloud)
5.Navigate to Settings->Lines.
6. Fill in the Line 1 Identification fields:
a. Display Name: the name you want other callers to see
b. Address: trio.demo2@rp1cloud.com
c. Label: the label you want displayed on the Trio touch screen for this line (e.g. RP1Cloud)
7. Fill in the Server 1 fields.
a. Address: sip.rp1cloud.com
b. Port: 5060
c. Transport: TCPPreferred
8. Save all settings and reboot the Trio. Once registration is complete, you can make RP1Cloud calls using only the Meeting room ID. To complete registration, fill out the attached form and submit to customersuccess@rp1cloud.com.
