The RP1Cloud Outlook plug-in makes it simple to invite participants to your VMR in the body of your email. It will also add the meeting to your Outlook Calendar and your RP1Cloud meeting schedule.
Option 1 - Open your Outlook and go to your Calendar and click the RP1Cloud Schedule Meeting button. This will create a new Outlook meeting which already includes your RP1Cloud meeting details.
Option 2 - Open your Outlook and go to your Calendar and click either New Appointment or New Meeting. You then have the ability to optionally include your RP1Cloud meeting details.
Option 1 Explained
- Click the RP1Cloud Schedule Meeting button on the far left of your Outlook calendar ribbon
- Customize the meeting details such as title, date, time, etc.
- Invite the participants to your meeting
- Click Send
Option 2 Explained
- Create a new appointment or meeting request.
- Click the RP1Cloud Insert Meeting Details button.
The body of the message will be populated with info on how to join your meeting. Fill in the other information (attendees, date, time, etc.) as you would normally.
Note: If you have not yet signed into your VMR, you will be prompted to enter your RP1Cloud credentials. Enter the email and password that you use to sign into your RP1Cloud account via the RP1.VC portal.
3. Click Send.
If you are scheduling a meeting, it will appear in your Outlook calendar and your RP1Cloud meeting schedule in the RP1.VC portal
Note: The Outlook plug-in user interface is roughly the same if you are using Office 2013 or Office 2010 but looks different with Office 2007. The figures in the following instructions are from Office 2010.
