The chairperson can mute all meeting attendees or individual attendees. Attendees muted by a chairperson can unmute themselves, and a chairperson can unmute attendees who muted themselves.
Mute/Unmute All Meeting Attendees
- Move your mouse cursor to activate the menus and select the bullhorn icon in the menu on the right side of the display which says 'Conversation: Everyone can speak'. You'll notice you have the options to Mute All and Unmute All. If all of the participants have been muted, you will see the option 'Presentation: Moderators can speak'.
Mute/Unmute Individual Meeting Attendees
- Move your mouse cursor to activate the menus and select the people icon in the menu on the right side of the display which says 'Open participant list'.
- Click on the name of the participant you wish to mute or unmute
- Click on the microphone icon in order to mute or unmute that participant
