No, and it is a very common question. HIPAA is a law passed in the United States. Certain companies, like RP1Cloud, a division of Pragmatic, need to comply to HIPAA rules and regulation if we wish to be considered for doing business with Covered Entities in the U.S. There is no one that can “certify” that an organization is HIPAA compliant. The Office for Civil Rights (OCR) from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is the federal governing body here. And, HHS does not endorse or recognize the “certifications” made by private organizations.
