When you ordered your Polycom hardware you may have also requested ZTP. If you open your video codec box and follow the simple 1-2-3 steps explained in the glossy insert included inside your codec box, AND the unit does not automatically register itself, that means ZTP did not take effect. We apologize! That said, here is how we can get your video codec registered to RP1Cloud ASAP.
Note: This article also applies to room-based video endpoints even if ZTP was not requested at the time of the hardware order.
Why should you bother registering your endpoints on RP1Cloud? Because when you register your video endpoints to RP1Cloud, it simplifies the experience of joining meetings.
With that said, to complete the registration, please follow the instructions below and fill in the editable PDF form on page 2 of the attachment in this article. You can then send the completed form back to customersuccess@rp1cloud.com.
